Bowie lands in London — at V and A exhibit

The man everyone lovingly refers to as the Thin White Duke, Aladdin Sane and Ziggy Stardust recently came back from the dead, releasing a new CD out of the blue (“The Next Day”) and knocking fans off their feet. David Bowie is far from gone.

Many of Major Tom’s fabulous clothing and concert and recording material is on display at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum. If you happen to have plans to head to that wonderland, I would highly recommend a visit. Among amazing artwork and antiquities will be Bowie’s funky platform shoes, photos, and yes, his concert and video costumes. Even a cocaine spoon that he spent many a night with is there. Worth a visit.

The exhibit is there until Aug. 11. Here’s a link to more info from Slate.

I’ve also included a pic of his Aladdin Sane striped bodysuit for your viewing pleasure.
