Neil Young’s bassist has stroke, won’t be on European tour

Billy Talbot won’t be touring with Crazy Horse this time around.

Warner Brothers reports today that Neil Young bassist Billy Talbot suffered what’s been described as a mild stroke. Talbot is reportedly expected to fully recover, but has been told to rest up. He won’t be joining the band for its European tour.

Taking his place will be Rick Rosas, who’s played with Young in the past, as well as Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.
