Sleater-Kinney back from the dead with “Bury Our Friends,” new album, tour

While some bands have called it quits this year, one band is back in a huge way: Sleater-Kinney.

The girl-indie-punk band have released a new single, “Bury Our Friends” and is a perfect way for them to announce their resurrection from the dead. Their last album, “The Woods,” was out in 2005, nearly a decade ago.

The stomping guitar on “Bury Our Friends” cuts its way through while the ladies howl, “We’re wild and weary but we won’t give in,” as they burn everything in their path.

Sleater-Kinney‘s new album, “No Cities To Love,” is out Jan. 20.
