The all-female British punk quartet Pins is now poised to make its mark on the States.
For proof, check out their latest single, “Too Little Too Late” on Youtube. It features some seriously pissed off band members and other women clearly out for blood.
According to Pins:
“Writing the ‘Too Little Too Late’ lyrics was very cathartic, they spewed out like hot lava from an angry volcano. It is a middle-finger-to-the-world kind of song and the video mirrors that notion. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!”
Interesting fact: the B-side is their cover of The Misfits’ “Hybrid Moments.”
Their abstract style of punk is raw and mysterious, and their sparse, clash-y sound adds a sense of desolation, as on “Little Sting.” The group’s been around since at least 2012, when their EP “LuvU4Lyf” was released.
In short, they’re good at what they do.
Check out the rest of their music on Soundcloud as well, especially that EP’s title track.
Their debut album, “Wild Nights,” on which Mark Ronson lent a hand, is out on Bella Union on June 8.
